Opinions please

Right lets get this board back on the road again with a question (or two).

First up, what do you think of people becoming more than just good friends? Is it dependant on the situation/how long you have known a person, or should you go on just gut instincts?

I don't think I could answer this one without writing a book!

But a simplistic view is never date a non busy person.

I don't see anything wrong with taking a friendship further. I think the people I've felt the deepest for(exc. hubby) have all been friends for a while before hand. One of those guys is still one of my close friends, mind I wouldn't take it any further again - been there, done that it just didn't work out. We are better at friends than lovers.
